The UNICO Foundation will grant the Inserra Scholarships to students pursuing a degree. Applicants must be a student currently attending an accredited campus-based college or university program in the United States and must continue their study within the academic year 2026-2027. The scholarship is open to freshmen through seniors and graduate students. If applying as a graduate student, applicants must be currently attending the graduate program. Online degree programs are not eligible for UNICO scholarships. Applicants must have at least one parent of Italian heritage. Documented and notarized proof may be requested by the selection committee, if necessary. It is optional but applicants may submit a resume or any other pertinent information to explain their school experience. It is optional but applicants may also submit a Chapter or District letter of endorsement. If applicants are being sponsored by a local chapter, a chapter of a family member or a local district, they will be asked to provide the name and email address for the chapter or district contact. They will receive an email requesting their sponsorship and/or the option of attaching a letter of endorsement.
