For the Aulani Resort 10th Anniversary Scholarship, the HCF requires applicants to be a resident of the State of Hawaii; demonstrate financial need; and be in good academic standing by maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7. The donor requires applicants to be a resident of West Oahu, as defined by the following cities/zip codes: Ewa Beach, 96706; Kapolei, 96707; Kunia, 96759; Wahiawa, 96786; Waialua, 96791; Waianae, 96792; Waipahu, 96797. The donor also requires applicants to enroll at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the State of Hawaii and pursue a degree in Travel Industry Management (hospitality/tourism) or Hawaiian Studies (language/culture). Preference will be given to students of Native Hawaiian descent, as self-identified through the application process. Preference will be given to recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing.
