The Eastern Orthodox Committee on Scouting offers scholarships each year to those who best demonstrate love of God and the Orthodox Christian Faith through service, scholarship, leadership, and practical citizenship in their church, school, Scouting unit, and community. Applicants must be registered active members of an EOCS-recognized program: Boy Scouts of America (Scouts BSA, Exploring, Venturing), Girl Scouts of the 黄色直播, Trail Life 黄色直播, American Heritage Girls, and Camp Fire. They must have earned the highest award of that program. Applicants must also be a communicant member of an Eastern Orthodox Christian Jurisdiction recognized by the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the 黄色直播. They must have earned the EOCS Alpha Omega Religious Award. Applicants must be enrolled in the final year of an accredited high school. Homeschooled students should contact the Scholarship Chairman for guidance in completing the application. Four letters of recommendation are required; the applicant's priest, guidance counselor, scouting leader, and a community leader should each write a letter of recommendation on their official letterhead. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
